Managing Director
Dan Chambers is a Managing Director in Fitch Ratings’ Global Cross Sector group, managing the development and execution of ratings for new and alternative asset classes. Fitch’s Global Cross Sector group focuses on transaction ratings exposed to operating risk, in conjunction with other Fitch rating groups such as Corporate Finance, Global Infrastructure, Financial Institutions, and Sovereigns. Asset Classes include Transportation, Digital Infrastructure, Energy, Future Flow, Royalties and other non-traditional ABS.
Previously, Dan was responsible for non-traditional CMBS transactions, commercial mortgage servicers, as well as development of CMBS ratings criteria. He led Fitch’s analysis of CMBS sub-sectors including non-performing loans, single family rental, and CRE CLO securitizations.
Dan received his MBA from Fordham University and is Bachelors in Finance and Marketing form University of Richmond’s Robins School of Business
